Good clumps of divided, rounded foliage and intense, deep blue flowers from May to July. Repeating in autumn. Easy in ordinary soil in sun or part shade. 30cm.

'Devil's Blue' has slightly deeper blue flowers than the other blue forms of Geranium himalayense, and as can be seen in the photo a tendancy for the petals to be slightly lobed giving a different shape to the flowers.  We have found it to make a compact clump ideal for the front of the border, to 30cm tall and about 40cm spread in three years, in a good soil in sun.

Some descriptions say it has large flowers but we find that it compares with the old variety 'Gravetye' quite closely, certainly nowhere near as big as the more vigorous 'Baby Blue'
