AGM An old but reliable perennial for the mixed border or modern perennial planting.  Ferny grey foliage and strong stems with flat heads of bright yellow flowers followed by seedheads. 1.5m. Easy.

Very much a plant of traditional herbaceous borders and cottage gardens but Achillea 'Gold Plate' works very well mixed with rgasses and other perennials in modern prairie or meadow style gardens too.  Unlike the smaller Achillea derived from A. millefolium, 'Gold Plate' is a tough and reliable perennial that will survive in an ordinary, drained, soil in a mostly sunny place for many years.

Very hardy.
