We don’t really believe this is a form of C. flagellifera but the RHS Plantfinder says it is and we can’t think where else to put it!  Very fine, chocolate brown leaves with curly tips and extended flower stems to almost 1m long, trailing on the floor.  Up to 20cm high. Very fine, white variegated foliage on this newly introduced, clump forming cultivar. Light shade to sahde. 20cm high, 45cm across. We have grown an identical plant for a few years under the name C. umbrosa ssp. sabynensis ‘Thinny Thin’. All I can say at present is that ‘Silk Tassel’ dates back to 1976 when Barry Yinger introduced it to the USA from Japan. (9cmR)
