Achillea

Useful plants for summer colour on free drained soil in sun. If cut back after the first flush you can get another flush of flower in autumn, or you can leave the first flush as attractive seedheads for the winter. Best dug, split and replanted every few years, 2-3 years on heavier soils and 4-5 on lighter ones.
