Clumps of pinkish bronze new foliage turn greyish green later before going bronze-red again in autumn. Light pink flowers veined darker in summer. 30cm. Easy in ordinary soil in sun.

Mostly grown for it's attractive spring and autumn foliage which provides a tidy clump for the front of a border or a container.  The flowers are produced on relatively long, somewhat trailing, stems from June to September.

Best in drained but not dry soil in full sun.  Ideal for the front of a herbaceous border or a mixed planting of other low growing perennials and grasses.  Could be grown on a large rockery or similar as it is of compact growth, except for the trailing summer stems producing the flowers.  Spread, in flower, potentially up to 60cm, the clump (rootstock) more like 15cm.

A recent hybrid of Geranium wlassovianum (or may just be a selection of that species).
