Brilliant magenta pink flowers! Good evergreen groundcover with excellent autumn and winter foliage colour in shades of red. 30cm. Any drained soil in sun or shade.

One of the older varieties we grow, 'Czakor' (pronounced "chay-kor") has some of the largest flowers of the deep magenta coloured varieties.  It provides an excellent display of flower in spring/early summer with the flowers about 10cm taller than the leaves to about 30cm.  As an evergreen variety it also has a good autumn foliage display with orange, red and purple leaf colours that remain through the winter.

Geranium macrorrhizum 'Czakor' makes a good, evergreen, groundcover in most soils as long as it is not waterlogged.  Sun or shade are suitable but it really comes into it's own as a grouncover in dryish shade under deciduous trees, shrubs or hedges.
