A useful nearly evergreen clump former for shade, even quite dry, with shiny leaves and lilac pink flowers mostly in spring but also later. 30cm.
This is one of the paler flowered forms of Geranium nodosum with light lilac pink flowers, darker towards the edges and with a few "eyelash" type veins in a darker violet shade on each petal.
Just like other forms of this useful species it is tolerant of a wide range of conditions from good soil in full sun to quite dry places in shade. Remember that for it to grow in dry shade you will need to help it get established in the first season or two with plenty of compost and some extra water - soak it and then let it start to dry out before soaking again.
Unknown origin but presumably French?
