Attractive light blue windmill-like flowers with darker violet blue veins in spring and early summer.  Collected on Mt Elbrus in the Caucasus, Russia by Henrik Zetterlund. 20cm, drained soil in full sun.

Geranium renardii is perfectly suited to planting at the front of a border and works well as edging to, say, traditional rose borders or in clusters in more informal plantings.  It is a plant of open, stoney terrain in mountains so don't let it's neighbours overshadow or crowd it.

Well drained soil in full sun suits 'Zetterlund' best, front of border or a large rockery/scree would be fine.

Introduced in the mid 1990s.

Sometimes mis-spelt; 'Zetterland'.
