A new form from Denmark with lovely soft rich pink flowers with near white edges - a reverse picotee. Evergreen foliage on a low carpet for ordinary soil in sun or light shade. 20cm.
A totally new departure in flower colour for Geranium x cantabrigiense this is a really different form that is worth growing as a feature in it's own right rather than being relegated to a ground cover as most forms of Geranium x cantabrigiense are. It has the same abilities with a low growing carpet of rich green, evergreen, foliage to 15cm with the flowers to 20cm. Flowers in May-June, maybe a little earlier or later according to the weather.
For average, drained, soil in sun or part shade. The evergreen foliage providing a good groundcover, particularly useful for edging beds or under roses. Very hardy, evergreen in all but the very coldest winters.
From Denmark, c. 2012.
