An older German selection with a dwarf habit and a good display of light flowers that turn to a warm buff for autumn and winter. Clumps of rich green, arching leaves. Deciduous to 60cm, good soil in full sun is best.
Unlike some of the modern red and purple flowered forms 'Weserbergland' can be relied upon to produce a good display of flowers most years in the UK with a good tidy habit that suits the front of a border or growing as a single plant in gravel or a container. Usually not exceeding 60cm tall but the hemisphere of flowers can get to 1m across at it's peak so give them a bit of elbow space.
Perfectly hardy and well behaved.
