Glamorous large, cupped silvery pink flowers above a clump of finely divided leaves. Good soil in sun, not too dry. 45cm. Flowers from May onwards, not as vigorous as other forms.
A rare, large pink flowered, alternative to the many blue cranesbills that form low growing clumps or patches for the front of the border. The finely disected foliage grows to no more than 30cm with the flowers held clearly above the leaves. Geranium clarkei does seem to be a plant that grows well for some people and not others, we suspect that a good rich soil and not getting baked in summer will help.
Raised by Robin White of Blackthorn Nursery from seed of Geranium clarkei 'Kashmir Purple', c. 1990.
