Low clumps of narrow, hairy, leaves produce a good display of bright roayl blue flowers to 20-25cm in spring to early summer. Average soil in sun or light shade.

Much less spreading than the common bugle, Ajuga reptans, this species is idea for the front of a border or for growing amongst other similar plants.
