Amazing, large, starry flowers in spikes on robust stems from clumps of grassy foliage. Ideal for naturalising in grass or under trees as it will self seed and flowers in about 4 years. Good soil in sun or shade. 80cm.

We've had this plant under a large Ligustrum lucidum 'Tricolor' for over 25 years and it makes a lovely display in spring with masses of spikes covering an area about 2.5m across from an original single plant.

Camassias are native to north American prairies and this cream form comes from a small area of Washington State in the USA.
