A tall, evergreen species with elegant foliage and dangling bells of creamy white flowers. Decent soil in shade, to 1.5m once established.

Hardy but requires a sheltered spot to be truly evergreen, in a cold windy location it will be more deciduous.

Seed grown from stock originally grown from seed wild collected in China.
