Nearly double flowers of a clean chrome yellow on this shrubby perennial wallflower. Shortlived so take cuttings every year or two to keep it going. Drained soil in full sun. 45cm.
The origin of this plant is rather lost but it does make a good display from spring into autumn if you trim it back every so often.
There is some suspicion that it may be a synonym for Erysimum cheiri 'Harpur Crewe' but that had much smaller neater flowers when I grew it many years ago...
