A slow growing form with medium sized flowers of a lovely creamy white to 75cm. Deciduous foliage emerges early in spring. Does best in good soil in sun.
A pure white daylily doesn't seem to exist so we are very happy to make do with 'Iron Gate Glacier'! The full flowers really come into their own at dusk when they glow from a distance. The leaves are quite broad and the plant does not make many new crowns so it's quite slow to increase and settle in - worth waiting for!
Named in 1971.
