An unusual form of theis upright species with pink buds that open to creamy yellow flowers. Reddish stems and grey leaves provide more contrast. Good seedheads to 25cm. Drained soil, sun.

An attractive and well behaved garden plant ideal for the front of the border and an excellent mixer for smaller grasses like Sesleria autumnalis or Melica persica.

There is some doubt as to whether this plant is the same as the wild type or if it may be a selected form or hybrid.  We have had this plant for over 30 years, originally from Beth Chatto so feel it has a decent provenence!

Native to northern Europe.

Synonym Sedum telephium ssp ruprechtii
