Tall wands clothed with narrow greyish green foliage produce heads of big white daisies in autumn to 1.5m. Best in a good soil in full sun.

A lovely tall, elegant daisy that works well with the range of taller autumn flowering ornamental grasses available today.

Leucanthemella serotina is one of those plants that dramatically wilts as soon as it's the slightest bit dry, but water it (or even if the sun goes in) and it'll soon perk up. With this in mind it's best grown in a soil that doesn't dry out but it's actually very tough and will survive all sorts of abuse!

Syn. Chrysanthemum serotinum, C. uliginosum.

From Europe and Asia.
