A classic herbaceous lobelia with leafy clumps producing spires of blue-purple flowers in late summer and autumn. Prefers damp sunny sites but can be flexible. 75cm.
These taller herbaceous lobelias don't seem to be seen in gardens (or nurseries) so much nowadays but this really stood out in an open garden we visited a couple of years ago - so it's added back into out range after a break of c. 15 years!
Pretty hardy unless you are in a frost pocket and we get a really cold winter.
