A short-lived (or biennial) Evening Primrose with large, scented, creamy yellow flowers on willowy stems to 75cm. Orange-red tinted evergreen rosettes of foliage and reddish stems, buds etc. Hardy.

One of those plants that never quite goes out of the mind despite the years since you lst saw it. Or at least that's how I felt when we got some fresh seed recently and started to grow this Chilean plant again.

The memory of the large palest yellow flowers that turn a lovely peachy colour as they go over on red flushed stems waving about in the garden throughout summer and autumn goes back many years but doesn't fade.

For well drained, poor, soil in full sun for best effect. Allow to self-seed so that you have more for the future.
