HARDY. The only really hardy species though it does require very good drainage and full sun. Neat rosettes of rounded leaves and heads of brilliant pink flowers in summer. 20cm.

Although Pelargonium endlicherianum can be grown successfully outside in the UK it may be easier to grow it in a terracotta pot (using very gritty compost) and to move it under cover for the winter to keep the worst of the winter rain off it.  We've found it will take very low temperatures but only if kept pretty dry (and ventilated) from October till the spring.

From the mountains of Turkey.
