Rich ruby red flowers on this candelabra primula fade pinkish-red towards the edges and have a darker eye.  An easy, robust, hardy plant for good soil in shade.  45cm.

A seed strain that comes ramarkably true with just the odd plant being closer to magenta.  Relatively easy for a candelabra primula, Primula japonica 'Miller's Crimson' can naturalise when it's happy in good soil in shade.

Totally deciduous and late, but fast, to emerge in spring.  Flowering in May and June.
