Brilliant white flowers on strong stems to 45cm on this hardy, deciduous primula for good soil in shade.

A candelabra type that is much easier than some, Primula japonica 'Postford White' doesn't seem to mind soil type as long as there is a decent nutrient and moisture level.  A seed strain that comes pretty much true, though some plants can have a pink tinge to the buds they open white with warm yellow middles.

Can naturalise in the right conditions.
