A delightful, smaller variety with neat leaves with lots of bright silvery spots and dense heads of clear sky blue flowers in early spring. 15cm. Good soil in part shade or shade.

'Roy Davidson' is an older variety but still one of the best value garden forms with it's neat long lived habit and reliable tidy foliage and flowers.  We've rarely found seedlings from it too which is a distinct bonus given how free some modern varieties are with their seed!

Ideal to grow under deciduous trees or shrubs on the edge of a path where you can see it early in the year but it will get some shelter from the sun in the summer.  Plenty of moisture in winter and spring but it'll tolerate drier condtions in summer.

Found by Roy Davidson as a seedling from Pulmonaria longifolia 'Bertram Andeerson'.
