Attractive pink flowers on this sub-shrubby sage which flowers for months on end. Hardier than many, it's survived -16C with good drainage here. Full sun, to 50cm.

There seem to be far too many of these woody based salvia around now but very few are truly hardy.  'Peter Vidgeon' has proved to be tougher than most here since 2010 and survived where other, older, varieties haven't so we really reckon it's worth trying in a sheltered, well drained sunny spot even if others have failed for you.

As a bonus it has the most lovely pink flowers over it's rich green foliage.  The colour of the flowers is a soft shade, blending from rich to pale on each flower. To 50cm in an open position but may grow taller if planted against a wall or fence.
