A compact from of chives with sparkling white flowers to 15cm. A very pretty front of border or rockery plant that attracts lots of pollinators. Drained soil in sun.
Clumps of upright stems with lobed slightly downy leaves produce slender spikes of pale pink flowers to 1.8m. The leaves become strongly flushed purple in summer/autumn. Good soil in sun/part shade.
Similar, but different, to L. arenarius with bright grey foliage, this is shorter, less arching and not quite so invasive! 50cm. Well drained sunny position.
