Striking creamy variegated foliage, more yellow on new growth and ruby red flowers with black and green markings in summer to 60cm. Hardy with a good mulch.
Superficially similar to the better known Alstroemeria psittacina but generally lacking white in the flowers and growing to a slightly lower height. 'Cally Star' emerges with a distint pale yellow margin to the leaves that fades to a lighter cream as they age, an attractive, crisp variegation.
Found at Cally Gardens as a sport in a batch of the normal green leafed form.
