The giant pale yellow scabious. Tall, upright branched stems tiopped with clouds of ethereal pastel flowers in summer. Allow to self-seed. Drained soil in sun or part shade. 1.8m.

One of those traditional cottage garden perennials that we grew up with and can't grow out of! Individually the plants can be short lived (3-4 years or so) as they tend to produce flowers at the expense of future growth.

Excellent to mix with larger grasses and other tall perennials.

A new form from Germany. Seems finer and perhaps dwarfer than the species. Drained soil in full sun.
