BSWJ10478 Collected in Costa Rica at 2800m. Neat twiggy bushes with small silvery leaves and small tubular pink flowers from midsummer into early winter. Round black berries in autumn. Probably hardy but take cuttings! 1m?
The type, Fuchsia microphylla is hardy here in East Anglia in a drained soil and given a mulch of composted bark or similar so it is likely that 'Silver Lining' will be ok too.
Attractive as a foliage plant from the spring when it leafs up, the flowers are a bonus!
Collected from Cordillera de Talamanca, Costa Rica, 2800m in 2004.
