Clumps of pinnate foliage, amazing purple when fresh, and wiry stems of pinkish white, scented, flowers to 1.5m in summer. A lovely elegant perennial to grow with taller ornamental grasses etc.

Does self-seed a little bit but I find it never does it quite enough and they always appear in the right place anyway!

From meadows in Eastern Europe. Very hardy and easy.
