An elegant variegated form with an upright clump forming habit and fine foliage with white margins. Excellent and airy height for mixing into formal borders or naturalistic gardens. Good soil in sun. 1.5m. Cut back hard in late winter.
From Japan originally but it gained the current name in the USA at the nursery of Kurt Blumel .
syn. Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus Variegatus' and Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus Univittatus' - it is the variegated version of Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus'.
