An attractive and unusual clump forming winter flowering perennial with glossy green leaves with silver backs that fringe the edges. Heads of yellow daisies November to January to 50cm. Drained soil in sun.
Ajania pacifica seems to do best in a sheltered sunny posittion but it is a pretty tough plant, loosing some leaves if the weather is too cold.
From coastal areas of Japan.
Synonym Chrysanthemum pacificum and often called Gold and Silver Chrysanthemum because of the golden yellow flowers and silver leaf edges and backs.
