A much sought after single white flower with a neat little ruff of green petalloid stamens in the middle. Very slow. Good, drained soil in light or part shade. 15cm.
A variety we've grown for many years but rarely have much spare stock unfortunately. Compact plants with smaller leaves and flowers than the more common varieties, 'Green Fingers' deserves a special place in a spring woodland type border in the garden.
The flower type is quite variable from year to year with the ruff of green in the centre varying from a tiny clump to quite big ferny growth. In a warm spring the white sepals can flush faintly with pink.
Anemone nemorosa 'Green Dream'£8.00
Amazing flowers with a single white row of sepals with a ruff of leaf-like bracts within which in turn contain another white "flower". Good soil in shade.
Anemone nemorosa 'Lismore Blue'£4.50
A shorter form of Wood Anemone with good solid blue flowers in spring to 15cm. Average to good soil in the shade.
