Neat clumps of flattened rosettes of dark green leaves produce masses of branched stems bearing clouds of starry pink flowers in spring and early summer to 20cm. Light shade, ordinary soil.
A good edging plant to herbaceous borders or will suit larger rockeries etc. We find it needs at least some shade here in Norfolk but it will probably be fine in a sunny position in cooler parts of the country!
