Stunning large, pale yellow dandelion-like flowers from rosettes of deeply lobed leaves. Perennial, for drained soil in full sun. 45cm.
Don't be put off by it's resemblance to the common golden yellow dandelion, Urospermum dalechampii is in a quite different league and well worth a try! The pale, almost creamy, yellow flowers are that shade that goes with almost anything and the ray florets (petals if you like) have the strangest tips that look cut off with crimping shears.
Fluffy seedheads follow the flowers, has never self-sown here.
From the Central and Western Mediterranean.
Syn. Tragopogon dalechampii
