Four Hardy Geraniums which will thrive in good to moist soil in shade, especially woodland.
Many people find our large range of hardy geraniums a little daunting so here is an opportunity to avoid having to make decisions!
There are quite a few Geranium species that grow in woodlands naturally so these make a good choice for a shady area in the garden. If you are blessed with a damper shady area then you can have a wide range to choose from as long as the area is not actually submerged for any length of time. A brief flood of a day or two shouldn't be a problem for most.
It is worth improving the soil before planting, adding extra organic matter can help raise the soil level and alleviate any problems of excess wet. Adding sand or grit to a clay soil sounds good but you have to add vast amounts to make much permanent difference.
Please see the individual descriptions for more information about each plant.
Please note that the actual varieties in this collection will change from time to time.
