A good deep royal blue flowered form of Meadow Cranesbill collected in south west Scotland.  Clumps with summer flowers to 75cm. Good soil in sun.

Slightly deeper blue than typical for the UK populations this makes a fine border plant or it can be used to naturalise in a meadow.  As with all forms of Geranium pratense it is often affected with powdery mildew later in the summer and can be cut back to groundlevel to clear this away, new growth is usually clean.

Collected by John Ross on the shore of Cluden Water, Dumfries in 1990.  The red-pink flowered 'Cluden Ruby' was also collected at the same time but now seems to be lost.
