A rare form from Rolf Offenthal with rich pink-magenta flowers of a decent size and deep green leaves to 25cm x 60cm spread. Sun or light shade, ordinary to dry soil.

A good plant for larger rockeries or edging a herbaceous border with its mound of divided foliage studded with flowers from April to autumn.  Tough, reliable and fairly vigorous.

You will get the best flowers (and more of them) in full sun but Geranium sanguineum is very tolerant of a wide range of sites including part or light shade.  Big enough to look after itself if it has boistrous neighbours!

Named c. 1999 by Rolf Offenthal, Germany. Parents may be 'Shepherd's Warning' and 'Elsbeth'.
