AGM Beautiful silver veined, lance shaped evergreen leaves. A trailing/climbing form that will self cling to a suitable surface. Best in at least some shade in most soils except wet. Can be pruned to size.
Unlike the common variegated forms of Eupnymus fortunei this choice selection has no inclination to make a bush, it will trail or climb instead. We have it climbing up the timber on the north end of a shade netted polytunnel on the nursery! It will also make a good ground cover along the lines of a very refined ivy.
Very hardy and evergreen even in exposed situations and cold winters. Euonymus fortunei 'Wolong Ghost' is ideal for a shady spot, even fairly dry once established, but is also tolerant of a fair bit of sun.
Collected in Wolong in Sichuan, China by Dan Hinckley.
