Handsome evergreen foliage on this Taiwanese shrub with a habit a bit like a larger form of the common E. fortunei. 1.5m? Shade, even quite dry. Not seen flowers yet.
For some reason Euonymus spraguei really ticks boxes for me. It has plain, rather pale green foliage and doesn't "do" anything, but I can't stop feeling excited everytime I see it growing in our shady plant stock area!
We obtained it from the Plant Heritage plant exchange several years ago without any collection details but this is almost certainly derived from the CWJ12446 2007 collection from the high mountains of northern Taiwan.
