Delicate looking palest pink flowers, fading to white, with very light lavender blue corollas on a bright green bushy plant. Hardy once established. Potentially to 1.2m, best in drained but good soil in part shade.
One of a few special hardy Fuchsias that I've known since I was a child, 'Grayrigg' has the elegance of Fuchsia magellanica but doesn't get so big! The flowers look very pale against the lush green foliage.
Hardy Fuchsias tend to be hardier the older they get, so its worth giving plants a bit of extra protection with a mulch and maybe some cut conifer branches around them for the first 3 winters or so.
Introduced by Alfred Thornley, 1978.
