A vigorous rambler with clouds of strongly scented white flowers with golden stamens in late spring and early summer. Needs a large support, for sun or shade, best in good soil. 6m.
We don't grow many hybrid roses but 'Seagull' gets a place as it does an excellent job of holding together a large, old hawthorn hedge to stop the Muntjac deer getting into the nursery!
Our plants are raised by cuttings so they are on their own roots and won't have the potential problems associated with budded/grafted stock.
Stunningly beautiful to see and smell when in full flower.
Introduced 1907.
