Rarely seen Brazilian species with downy foliage and a cascading habit. Attractive, elegant, red and purple flowers in late summer and autumn. 1.2m.

From high altitudes so likely to have some hardiness in a sheltered location with a good mulch.  Best grown in at least some shade.
