A rich pink flowered form of this mostly evergreen from conifer woodlands of western North America. Shade, not dry but drained. 15cm.

Semi-evergreen, Oxalis oregana will keep it's leaves in sheltered locations but is likely to be deciduous in really cold winters or more exposed sites.  Smalliana seems to have a deeper green leaf than the species.

Makes a dense groundcover, slowly spreading here in East Anglia but likely to be quiker in damper parts of the country.

Redwood Sorrel. From coastal woodland in California, Oregon and Washington in the USA and British Columbia in Canada.
