A fine plant (if only we were sure of it's name!) that makes neat clumps with large clear blue flowers to 40cm in spring. Very showy. Good soil in sun or light shade.

The largest flowers we've ever seen on a Polemonium in a lovely rich but bright blue on tidy clumps. Doesn't seem to self seed (at least not in the c 15 years we've had it).

Obtained many years ago as Polemonium cashmireanum but that seems to be a synonym of Polemonium caeruleum ssp himalayanum which is much taller, narrower and smaller flowered than this plant. P. c. himalayanum also self-seeds quite a bit which our "P. cashmireanum" has never done. Polemonium kiusianum looks possible but more research needed!
