A striking white flowered poppy relative for good soil in at least some shade. Attractive scalloped leaves make patches when happy. 40cm.

Beautiful sparkling white flowers with bright yellow filaments/anthers in early to mid summer. The greyish green leaves have brighter grey undersides.

One of those plants that prefers a cool, damp shady site but will survive in a much wider range of conditions. Some gardens in the western side of the UK may find it spreads quite a bit - not a problem we have here in Norfolk!
