Big, sword-like pleated leaves on this wild collected form with tall, strong stems supporting branched heads of long-tubed orange flowers in late suimmer to 1.5m. Good, drained soil in full sun.
Showy narrow spikes of tangerine orange flowers to 1.5m on this very hardy ginger (with a mulch at least). Probably the best one to start with. Part/light shade.
Clumps of upright stems with lobed slightly downy leaves produce slender spikes of pale pink flowers to 1.8m. The leaves become strongly flushed purple in summer/autumn. Good soil in sun/part shade.
