Wood Anemones - part 2

28 July 2013  |  Admin

I thought I'd add these just a couple of weeks after my first post but as usual the season seems to have taken over and a few months have passed!  Just a few photos of the woodland Anemones that are growing on for the future, we try and propagate them in late summer/autumn so there may be some of these ones to spare in the spring.

Anemone nemorosa 'Stammheim'

Anemone x lipsiensis (a pale form, obtained as A. x intermedia)

Anemone nemorosa 'Evelyn Meadows' - grown for it's purple leaves rather than it's plain white flowers!

All the photos above were taken in the 3rd week of April this year.

We have others of course but these are the most likely to be available in the next year or two, some of the others I have only one tiny piece that may take five years or more to make anything divideable!
