A pretty selection of Wood Anemone with white flowers with a pink reverse. The white flushes pink as the flower ages eventually turning deep pink. Good soil in light shade, 15cm.
Most of the "pink" Anemone nemorosa selections perform the same trick as 'Cedric's Pink' in that the deepest colour is only seen when the flower has just about had it! Unfortunately some websites only show the deep pink (with paler margins) flowers.
A fairly slow plant to grow but persistant and will make a good clump in time. As a woodland native it prefers a decent soil under deciduous shrubs or trees where it will get moisture and light in winter and spring before getting shaded in summer.
Presumably named by or for Cedric Morris.
