A beautiful and fairly hardy species with masses of soft lilac pink flowers with golden centres from midsummer into late autumn on wiry stems to 1.2m. Drained soil in full sun with a deep mulch or protect in winter.
AGM Unusual lanceolate leaves on a willowy upright plant producing masses of elegant red and purple flowers from midsummer. Distinctive reddish stems. Should be hardy in drained soil, best in some shade.
Gold veined oxalis. Pretty yellow reticulate veined leaves and sporadic pale pink flowers. Can be grown indoors or out in a sheltered spot. Drained soil, sun. 10cm.
TENDER Scented. AGM Chunky foliage and enormous bright pink flowers with darker, near black, feathered markings from early spring through summer. Impressive! 40cm.
TENDER AGM SCENTED One of the best known scented types with deeply divided leaves and heads of smallish pink flowers. The main reason for growing is the scent and flavour of the foliage. 40cm.
TENDER SCENTED A vigorous upright grower with greyish leaves with unusual, fairly random lobing. Strong rose scent - no lemon to my nose! Occasional pale pink flowers. 45cm.
TENDER SCENTED AGM. An upright bushy form with oak-shaped leaves with a strong brown mark in the centre of the young leaves. Pale pink flowers with darker marks. 30cm.
TENDER Wonderful grey succulent leaves with scalloped margins and a good display of clear salmon pink, narrow petalled, flowers all summer. Protect from frost. Semi-trailing habit.
TENDER Usually mis-labelled simply as P. sidoides this beautiful hybrid has sprays of burgundy red flowers from greyish foliage on a scrambling plant to 30cm.
Stunning sky blue flowers from spring to autumn on this modern S. chamelaeagnea hybrid from New Zealand. Scented foliage is a bright, fresh green. 60cm in a sunny spot with good, drained soil. Probably not fully hardy.
AGM A compact hybrid with grassy foliage and masses of light lilac pink flowers with darker centres all summer. Maybe hardy in well drained soil in full sun or grow in a pot and take in overwinter. 40cm.
A very good form of this hybrid (divisions) with neat clumps of grassy leaves and masses of light pink flowers to 30cm. Fairly hardy in a sheltered sunny spot with good drainage.
A unusual shrubby plant with glossy green foliage and a good display of tubular, hanging light yellow flowers in spring and summer. Shelter, drained soil. 1.5m.
